Mountain View - Best Practice Ground for National Day Golf Tournament
16 players participated in the trip to Bandung on Saturday 4th August 2007 where we played round of golf at Mountain View, Dago Pakar. Cooling weather plus nice overlooking view of Bandung has welcomed us.
Pak Kris was the first one to arrived, over excited and he thought of having a practice at the driving range but there is no driving range yet so he mingled around with the waitress while waiting for the rest. I think that the reason why he is not concentrating on his game and end up lost to Dzulakhbar the new ‘buaya’ of the day.(Sorry Pak Kris , gurau aje) And the reason why Dzul playing very well is because he had “Mee Tek Tek” before the game and the waitress confused what does “Tek Tek” meant by Dzul. I also found another best “Mee Kocok” in Indonesia..the best still at PG Halim II.
I need to finalize the trip by 1st August, so far we already have 2 flights confirmed. Kindly submit your registration before 12 noon 1st August 2007.
Attached also please find the result of Yesterday game at Padang Jaya Ancol and Summary Month of August Winners. Congratulation to Bp. Halim Ashari for winning the most Consistent Player of the Month and welcome back Bp. Azlan Naim in the chart.

The next time when you are at Mal Taman Anggerek, do drop by the food court to check out some of the ‘almost close to home taste’ food at “Tru”
As you enter the food court after buying the food coupon, immediately turn to your left and “Tru” is the stall that is located at the end of the row to your left, you won’t miss it.
I especially like the ‘fried durian balls’ which is quite unusual, crispy on the outside, tender and not so sweet on the inside.
On the menu, they also serve curry mee, nasi lemak and roti canai. All these are served with curry chicken and the taste will more or less suit the tastebud of a typical Malaysian.
Not forgeting, they have yam cake, roti tissue and nasi panama too.
So, when you are there the next time, check it out. The price! It’s definitely affordable…even for students.
It was a night filled with laughter, singing and good fun for the 40 odd members that attended last nights MCJ gathering complimented by the buffet served at Amigos Kemang that certainly had our bellies filled with some nice TexMex goodness. The “Kalah OK” event is a departure from the traditional events MCJ has been organizing and will be an annual event to be held in July to allow our members and friends to enjoy themselves. This event was no different and provided plenty of fun and laughter. It was also a departure from the traditional karaoke sing song but this time it was a true music event with a live band.
The highly billed ‘Kalah OK’ event kick-start with Joe! being the MC for the night rendering ‘a funny with a twist’ song, and mind you without the music, where it got all of us laughing almost falling off their chairs (Editor’s note: if you want the lyrics, write to Joe!). During the course of the night, Joe! Entertained the audience with a selection of songs including “Chan Mali Chan” and “A Ceylonese/Tamil” number in the name of intermission. Anyway, great stuff Joe!
